THANKS

January 14th, 2009

Thanks once again for great attendance at the last meeting.  If anybody wants any of the information that was talked about and can’t find it please let me know and I will try to help.  I thought that that camp R.O.C.K.S.  sounded really cool.

Question?

December 29th, 2008

I had a parent e-mail me this question.  Does anybody have any suggestions for her?

My daughter with Aspergers is 14 and is too old for childcare, although
she complains about being very lonely, when she is at home over any of
the school breaks. Do you happen to know if there is a service out
there, where I can provide her with some sort of relief?
Thanks, Kara Skaggs

Holidays

December 29th, 2008

I hope everybody had a great Christmas!  I was finally able to get back in my house on Christmas Eve.  We were very lucky we didn’t have any pipes bust just a mess to clean up in our yard.  I can handle that!

I hope everybody has a safe and healthy New Year!

Crazy Pinz

December 18th, 2008

Crazy Pinz was a great success!  Everybody had a good time.  I hope to have a few social outings per year like that and could use suggestions on times and places to have it.  To everybody that attended, thank you for taking the time out of the busy Christmas season to come join me at Crazy Pinz.  A lot of families were able to make connections with others which is the purpose of these outings.  Thanks for all your support on getting this group started.

Crazy Pinz - update

December 13th, 2008

I just spoke to the owner of Crazy Pinz.  He forgot to let me know that it’s quarter night on Sunday.  This means that hot dogs, wings, pop, bowling and I think putt-putt is only .25 cents.  This will be great on the wallets!  It sounds like our “home base” will be the restaurant.  Hope to see you there!!!!

December Meeting

December 9th, 2008

I hope everybody was able to take away some new information that they didn’t know before.  I know that the medicaid waiver is very confusing.  Sue is a great resource, feel free to call or e-mail she is very knowledgeable.  Everybody’s situation is different.

CRAZY PINZ!  I am hoping for a good turn out this Sunday at 5:30 (Dec. 14th).  It is going to be very informal.  My goal is to get families connected to each other.  We will have a private room as a “home base.”

CIRCUS!  Thursday January 22, 2008 at 10:15.  It is absolutely free unless you purchase from the concession stand.  I need a head count very soon.  I will aslo send an e-mail for you to reply to.  We would all have seats together.
